Before they were brewers, the team at Hop Nation were winemakers, and it was only a matter of time before they returned to their roots. We’re so glad they did! Introducing Site Wine, small batch wine produced at their vineyard in Red Hill, Mornington Peninsula. Site Wines are grown and made using minimal intervention and sustainable practices. Hand-picked, natural fermentation, no fining or filtration.

2021 ROSÉ (750ml bottle)
Single site Malbec and Nebbiolo Rosé from Benalla, Victoria. Handpicked in early March 2021, before being whole bunch pressed to tank for natural settling. The wine was naturally stabilised over winter in the tank until it was ready for bottling. The wine pours a deep blush-pink colour. The wine displays aromas of strawberries and cream, with a hint of watermelon. It is soft and delicate on the palate, while still maintaining freshness. 13.3% alc/vol.

2022 SAUVIGNON BLANC (750ml bottle)
Single site Sauvignon Blanc from Hanging Rock, Victoria. After seven months fermenting on skins, our Sauvignon Blanc was then pressed to naturally settle before bottling. Unfined and unfiltered. Textural, complex, soothing. Showcasing passionfruit and gooseberry characters typical of the variety, but backed up with texture. A wine giving complexity and acid crunch, suitable to complement both delicate and fatty dishes. 12.0% alc/vol.

2022 SYRAH (750ml bottle)
Single Site Syrah from Benalla, Victoria. 100% whole bunch, 17 day ferment. Aged in French oak. Unfined, unfiltered. Complex, cherry, pepper. A medium bodied Syrah with loads of crunch and spice. Showing off cherries and cassis with a juicy mid palate. 13.8% alc/vol.

2021 PINOT NOIR (750ml bottle)
From select vineyards, Mornington Peninsula, Victoria. Handpicked, with natural fermentation. Hand plunged, basket pressed, aged in French oak on lees. Unfined and unfiltered. Bright, cherry, juicy. Vibrant, juicy plum and cherry aromas give the wine life and lift. Some spice and carbonic characters are present, but elegance is its main feature. 12.5% alc/vol.

**IMPORTANT NOTE - PLEASE READ:
Prior to adding alcohol to your gift, please read the following. All these conditions (as informed by Vic Gov) must be met otherwise we will contact you about your order to amend it or refund you. 

1. Alcoholic drinks can only be delivered by our door to door couriers, which means only local Melbourne or Geelong delivery is available when you include alcohol. 
2. Alcoholic drinks cannot be sent on their own. They must be sent in addition to a plant and/or other (non-alcoholic) gifts. The total cost of alcohol in your order must be not be more than 50% of your total order cost.
3. The volume of liquor purchased per customer in one day, must not be more than 1.5 litres (e.g., max 2 x 750ml bottles of wine). 
4. The gift purchaser and the recipient of the gift must be over 18. If our couriers think the recipient is under 21, ID will be requested. By placing an alcohol order, the customer is agreeing and verifying that they are over 18. If HB are suspicious we may request a copy of your ID be sent to us via a trusted digital service. 
5. Due to point 4 above, there can be no authority to leave (ATL) at the premises if no one is home, when delivering alcohol. If the recipient is not home, your gift will be returned to us and you will be contacted in order to pay the re-delivery fee.
