- CARE GUIDE
-
All of our indoor plants are thoughtfully selected for their easy-to-care-for nature.
You’ll find specific care instructions below, but don’t worry - whether you’re treating yourself or sending a gift, we’ll include simple care instructions with your order to help your plant thrive.
CARE LEVEL
Easy-going but with a flair for climbing and trailing drama. Perfect for beginners or anyone wanting a versatile, patterned foliage plant.LIGHT
Enjoys bright, indirect light for best variegation. Can tolerate lower light, but leaf patterns may become less distinct. Avoid harsh, direct sun that can scorch the leaves.WATER
Water when the top few centimetres of soil are dry. Keep soil evenly moist but never soggy. In winter, allow the soil to dry out a little more between waterings.HUMIDITY
Happy in average household humidity but will appreciate an occasional mist in dry climates. Avoid prolonged dry air to prevent crispy leaf edges.FEEDING
Feed every 4–6 weeks in spring and summer with a balanced liquid fertiliser. Pause feeding during autumn and winter.LEAF CARE
Wipe leaves gently with a damp cloth to keep the variegation vibrant. Remove any yellowing or damaged leaves to encourage new growth.PET FRIENDLY?
Not pet safe. Keep away from curious cats and dogs – toxic if ingested.EXTRA TIPS
Trailing too long? Give it a light trim to keep it bushy and encourage new shoots | Leggy growth usually means it needs more light | Can be trained to climb a moss pole, trellis, or left to cascade beautifully from a hanging basket. - WHEN AND HOW TO RE-POT
- Your Hello Botanical plant gift can happily remain in the plastic gardener’s pot and our hessian pot cover for 3-6 months or more. Indoor plants do best if they are left in the plastic gardener's pot for at least a few months. When it is time to re-pot, it's best to re-pot up (into a slightly larger pot) to promote continued growth. You may like to add-on a Mr Kitly selfwatering pot to your plant gift (size 170mm for our small plants, size 250mm for our large plants). We provide individualised advice on how and when to re-pot, per plant, per recipient. We include an information leaflet with your gift, and are available by email or DM anytime for further advice.
- IMPORTANT DELIVERY INFO
