- CARE GUIDE
-
All of our indoor plants are thoughtfully selected for their easy-to-care-for nature.
You’ll find specific care instructions below, but don’t worry - whether you’re treating yourself or sending a gift, we’ll include simple care instructions with your order to help your plant thrive.
CARE LEVEL
Low-maintenance and beginner-friendly – a beautifully variegated pothos that stays happy with minimal fuss!LIGHT
Prefers bright, indirect light to keep that striking white variegation crisp. It can tolerate lower light butexpect slower growth and more green leaves. Avoid harsh direct sun, which can scorch delicate variegation.WATER
Water when the top 1–2 inches of soil is dry. Snow Queens like a consistent but not soggy routine – allow excess water to drain fully and reduce watering during cooler months.HUMIDITY
Average indoor humidity is perfectly fine, but it will appreciate slightly higher levels. Great for bathrooms, kitchens, or near a humidifier if your air is very dry.FEEDING
Feed monthly in spring and summer with a balanced liquid fertiliser at half strength. Skip feeding in autumn and winter when growth naturally slows.LEAF CARE
Gently wipe the leaves with a damp cloth to remove dust and keep the variegation bright. Remove any yellowing or fully green leaves to keep the plant looking its best.PET FRIENDLY?
Unfortunately, no. Like other pothos, the Snow Queen is toxic to pets and humans if ingested. Keep it safely out of reach.EXTRA TIPS
Let it trail or climb – it’s gorgeous either way | More white variegation = slower growth, so be patient! | If stems get leggy, pinch back to encourage fuller growth | Rotating the pot every week or so keeps the variegation even and prevents leaning. - WHEN AND HOW TO RE-POT
- Your Hello Botanical plant gift can happily remain in the plastic gardener’s pot and our hessian pot cover for 2-3 months or more. Indoor plants do best if they are left in the plastic gardener's pot for at least a few months. When it is time to re-pot, it's best to re-pot up (into a slightly larger pot) to promote continued growth. You may like to add-on a Mr Kitly selfwatering pot to your plant gift (size 170mm for our small plants, size 250mm for our large plants). We provide individualised advice on how and when to re-pot, per plant, per recipient. We include an information leaflet with your gift, and are available by email or DM anytime for further advice.
